Most of my portfolio shows how I adapt alongside teams across different brand systems, but these projects reflect a clearer sense where my personal design style tends to gravitate when working on projects independently.
My design taste is always evolving and changing, but lately I’ve been loving swiss grids, neo-brutalism, and modern takes on retro aesthetics.
Primary tools: Figma is my home base, with Adobe Creative Suite in the mix when a project calls for it.

An incredibly dorky pet project I've been messing around with. I'm in a Tolkien book club and have lost count of the times I wished for an easier way to learn the vast cast of the expanded legendarium.
I wanted to move past the fantasy script and earth tones the genre typically leans on, so this concept draws instead from The Silmarillion, an expansive, metaphysical epic set in a celestial world.

My parents are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and I'm designing the look and feel for the event. They got married in the ‘76, so this invitation concept pulls from that era of film and print design.
Most people would call their parents easy clients, but my dad was an ad agency creative director, so fingers crossed this survives his review.

I recently visited my great grandfather's hometown in rural Japan and learned so much about his life and legacy. I'm hoping to turn some of those highlights into a coffee table book for my family.
This is early exploration into how the look and feel could come together, focusing on symbols and motifs that have personal family significance.
